Difficult Ministry Situations #1

Hi Friends,
I'm giving blogging a try to get some feedback on an issue that several of our pastors face from time to time:
You lead someone, or a couple, to make a commitment to follow Christ only to find out that they are living together "without the benefit of marriage". There are several responses to that situation and I'm wondeing what our pastors have found to be the most fruitful manner of addressing this set of circumstances.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you ( and so is the pastor who raised the question...)

I was reading some very interesting ideas in N.T.Wright's book Surprised by Hope that are certainly pertinent for the season in which we find ourselves. I hope you'll agree.

"Easter is about the wild delight of God's creative power."

" Is it any wonder people find it hard to believe in the resurrection of Jesus if we don't
throw our hats in the air?"

"This is our greatest festival. Take Christmas away, and in biblical terms you lose two
chapters at the front of Matthew and Luke, nothing else. Take Easter away, and you
don't have a New Testament; you don't have a Christianity; as Paul says, you are still in your
sins."

The 21st Century

This has been quite a week at work!
Yesterday I opened a Face Book page in conjunction with a Converge MidAtlantic page
Today I 'm the possessor of a Blackberry
It's a good thing we're going on vacation tomorrow so I can assimilate all this new technology!
You can pray that I'm up to the challenge.
Thanks
